Aleksa Nikolić hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law. During his studies, he received a scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Republic of Serbia. In 2018, he defended with distinction the master’s thesis entitled Federalism in Venezuela. Aleksa obtained his PhD with distinction at the same Faculty on 19 February 2026, with a dissertation entitled Systems of Government in Modern Federations. Aleksa is currently a Lecturer at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, where he teaches Constitutional Law in the first year of undergraduate studies. His academic areas are the theory of federalism, systems of government, and human rights. Aleksa has participated in a dozen international and domestic academic and expert conferences, seminars, and workshops. Additionally, Aleksa has authored several research papers and book reviews.
