Conference Belgrade Contributions

The Editorial Board of the Law and Governance SEE Blog expresses its immense gratitude to all authors who submitted their blog articles to our blog based on our call for contributions within the framework of the The ICON-S Balkans Chapter Inaugural Conference 2026 in Belgrade, organised by the ICON-S Balkans Chapter, Union University Law School Belgrade, and the KAS Rule of Law Programme South East Europe.

The Editorial Board had the privilege and difficult task to select two articles and invite their authors to the conference. Since all contributions had a very high quality, the decision was primary based on their compatibility with the already formed panels for the conference in coordination with our partners from ICON-S.  The two selected articles  can be read here: External militant democracy: The case of Bosnia & Herzegovina – Law and Governance South East Europe from colleague Aleksa Nikolic and Political Party Ban in Greece – Thoughts after Supreme Special Court Decisions 9 and 10/2025 – Law and Governance South East Europe from colleague  Anna Tsiftsoglou.

Nevertheless, we recommend also to everyone to read also all the other valuable articles related to the topic of militant rule of law in the SEE region :
