Iliana Boycheva is a PhD candidate in EU law at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” She is also an Analyst with the Law Program at the Center for the Study of Democracy, where she manages projects related to the rule of law and EU law.
Her research focuses on democratic accountability and the protection of fundamental rights. Iliana holds a Master of Law (LL.M.) and a Master’s degree in International Relations, with a focus on fundamental rights, from Sofia University, as well as a postgraduate degree in “Rule of Law in Europe” from the University of Strasbourg.
