Filip Novaković (Banja Luka, 1999) is a legal scholar whose academic journey reflects a deep commitment to the study and development of law. He earned his LL.B. (Hons.) in General Law from the University of Banja Luka, where he also served as student vice-dean and a member of the Scientific and Teaching Council.

Filip continued his education with an LL.M. in Criminal Law at the University of Sarajevo, focusing his thesis on the principle of immediacy in criminal proceedings. Currently, he is pursuing a doctorate in Criminal Law at the University of Zenica. His doctoral research, The Admissibility of Digital Evidence in Modern Criminal Procedure, examines the challenges that digital technologies pose to evidentiary standards and fair trial rights. Author of three books and over sixty scientific and professional articles,

Filip’s work spans criminal law, international law, and human rights. He is a corresponding member of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) and an active member of several professional organizations in the fields of law and victimology. Through his academic work and professional engagement, Filip is dedicated to advancing justice and legal scholarship in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.
